Current Music: 7 Seconds - Slow down a second
The 2006 TRANS-Forming Feminism Conference is rapidly
approaching—April 22, 2006. We, the organizing committee, are
certainly excited about the prospect of our third annual conference,
and we hope you are, too! This year, however, we have run into
unforeseen funding difficulties. While we are still very much
welcoming monetary donations to help offset the costs of reimbursing
our presenters for their time and travel, the purpose of this letter
is to request your assistance in housing some of our out-of-town
presenters. We are currently seeking guest rooms, couches, floor space
and alternative housing ideas to help us accommodate presenters who
have agreed to accept no-cost housing for the conference weekend.
Please let us know if you can lend a hand and feel free to distribute
this to anyone who you feel may be able to help! Please fill out the
form below and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
Which nights can you host? (Friday, April 21; Saturday, April 22; or both)
How many people can you host?
Do you have a smoking or non-smoking home?
Do you have pets? What kind?
What are the sleeping arrangements? (bed in a private room, couch in
the living room, futon, floor, etc.)
